بمناسبة انتهاء فترة عملكم في اليمن، يسر القمة النسوية أن تتقدم إليكم بأصدق عبارات الشكر والتقدير والعرفان، تثمينًا لما قدمتموه من إسهامات مهنية وإنسانية استثنائية، وما أحدثتموه من أثرٍ نوعي في دعم مسار السلام، وتعزيز الشمولية والتضمين، وترسيخ حضور النساء كشريكات أساسيات في بناء مستقبل اليمن.
لقد مثّل حضوركم إضافةً نوعية لتجربة مكتب المبعوث الخاص للأمين العام للأمم المتحدة إلى اليمن، وأسهم في ترسيخ تجربة رائدة في تطوير عمليات الوساطة المراعية للنوع الاجتماعي، وتعزيز التكامل بين مسار السلام الرسمي ومبادرات السلام النسوية، بما جسّد قيمةً مضافةً للعمل الأممي في اليمن، ورسّخ قناعةً بأن السلام المستدام لا يمكن أن يتحقق إلا بمشاركة النساء مشاركةً فاعلة ومؤثرة.
وقد أظهرتم، إلى جانب فريقكم، قيادةً مهنية رفيعة اتسمت بالكفاءة والالتزام والفاعلية، وأسهمتم في كسر حالة الجمود التي أحاطت بملف الشمولية والتضمين، من خلال تبني مقاربات عملية عززت الحوار بين مختلف المكونات اليمنية، وأرست رؤيةً للسلام تنطلق من القاعدة إلى القمة، بوصفها نهجًا يعكس احتياجات المجتمع ويمنح المجتمعات المحلية دورها المستحق في صناعة السلام.
كما أسهمتم في تحويل مفهوم الشمولية والتضمين من إطارٍ نظري إلى ممارسة عملية، عبر توسيع دوائر المشاركة لتشمل النساء والشابات والرجال، ومنظمات المجتمع المدني، والمنظمات التي تقودها النساء، والمجموعات اليمنية المدافعة عن حقوق الإنسان، بما أوجد بيئة أكثر انفتاحًا للحوار، ورسّخ ثقافة التفاهم، وعزز فرص التقارب بين مختلف الأطراف.
وكان لجهودكم دورٌ بارز في تعزيز أجندة المرأة والسلام والأمن، وإيصال أصوات النساء اليمنيات والفئات المهمشة إلى مسارات الحوار وصنع السلام، والإسهام في بناء سردية تعكس قصص النساء وتجاربهن وآراءهن ورؤاهن، بعد أن ظلت هذه الأصوات لسنوات طويلة خارج دائرة الاهتمام في كثير من عمليات السلام، بما عزز الاعتراف بخبرات النساء ومعارفهن المحلية بوصفها ركيزةً أساسية لبناء سلام عادل وشامل ومستدام.
وتعتز القمة النسوية كذلك بما قدمتموه من دعمٍ لبناء قدرات النساء اليمنيات، ومساندتهن في تطوير رؤى وتصورات تعكس المنظور النسوي للسلام، بما يعزز دورهن كشريكات فاعلات في صياغة مستقبل اليمن، ويسهم في ترسيخ نهج أكثر عدالة واستجابة لاحتياجات النساء والمجتمعات المحلية.
كما نثمّن عاليًا ما أقمتموه من شراكات قائمة على الثقة والتعاون مع الحركة النسوية اليمنية، وما قدمتموه من دعمٍ متواصل للمبادرات النسوية، ولا سيما القمة النسوية، الأمر الذي أسهم في إثراء العمل النسوي الداعم للسلام، وتعزيز مسارات العمل التشاركي والتكاملي بين مختلف الفاعلين والفاعلات في هذا المجال.
وإذ نعبر عن بالغ امتناننا لما بذلتموه من عطاء وتفانٍ طوال فترة عملكم في اليمن، فإننا نؤكد أن الأثر الذي تركتموه سيظل حاضرًا في ذاكرة النساء اليمنيات، وفي الجهود الوطنية الرامية إلى بناء سلامٍ شاملٍ وعادلٍ ومستدام، قائم على المشاركة والعدالة والكرامة الإنسانية.

On the occasion of the conclusion of your assignment in Yemen, the Yemeni Feminist Summit extends its deepest appreciation, sincere gratitude, and heartfelt recognition for your exceptional professional and humanitarian contributions, and for the meaningful impact you have made in advancing the peace process, promoting inclusion, and strengthening the role of women as indispensable partners in shaping Yemen’s future.
Your presence has been a remarkable asset to the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy for Yemen. Through your leadership, you helped establish a pioneering approach to gender-responsive mediation and strengthened the complementarity between the formal peace process and women-led peace initiatives. Your work has significantly enriched the United Nations’ engagement in Yemen and reinforced the conviction that sustainable peace cannot be achieved without the meaningful and influential participation of women.
Together with your team, you demonstrated exemplary professional leadership characterized by competence, dedication, and effectiveness. Your efforts helped overcome the stagnation surrounding the inclusion agenda by promoting practical approaches that strengthened dialogue among diverse Yemeni stakeholders and advanced a vision of peace that grows from the grassroots upward—an approach that reflects the needs of communities and recognizes the essential role of local actors in peacebuilding.
You also played a pivotal role in transforming the concept of inclusion from a theoretical framework into tangible practice by broadening participation to encompass women, young women, men, civil society organizations, women-led organizations, and Yemeni human rights groups. These efforts fostered a more open environment for dialogue, strengthened a culture of mutual understanding, and created greater opportunities for constructive engagement among diverse stakeholders.
Your contributions were equally instrumental in advancing the Women, Peace and Security agenda by amplifying the voices of Yemeni women and marginalized groups within peace and dialogue processes. You helped shape a narrative that reflects women’s experiences, perspectives, aspirations, and lived realities—voices that had long remained underrepresented in many peace efforts. In doing so, you strengthened recognition of women’s expertise and local knowledge as fundamental pillars for building a just, inclusive, and sustainable peace.
The Yemeni Feminist Summit also deeply values your commitment to strengthening the capacities of Yemeni women and supporting them in developing visions and policy perspectives that reflect feminist approaches to peace.
